The Chicago Elite Classic is an Elite High School Basketball Tournament with teams from across Chicago and the U.S & features the top local and out-of-state boys and girls’ basketball programs with top-level talent from nationwide competing for the chance to stand at the top of the mountain! Several players from past tournaments have gone on to become elite superstars in the NBA including Jason Tatum, Jabarri Parker, Jahlil Okafor among others. About The Chicago Elite Classic
The Chicago Elite Classic is a high school basketball showcase in Illinois that was co-founded in 2012 by Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and Simeon Career Academy. The event showcases nationally ranked teams from throughout the country and utilizes basketball to promote and encourage a champions in life message. The next event is scheduled for December 2, 2023, at Credit Union 1 Arena at UIC.
