Winners, nominees, celebrities and other on-goers headed out to the various pre and after parties all over Los Angeles to celebrate the holy grail award show for award season. I was pretty reserved in my visits this year because of Covid-19 precautions and I’m still not 100% comfortable around large crowds. But here are the few that I did manage to stick my head in.
Wow Creations Gift Lounge. On Thursday March 24th, 2022, several vendors including two of my clients Prevail Jerky and Sodajerk were on display and gifted luxurious items to attendees. This event took place at The Hilton Universal & guest were treated with relaxing harp playing & cocktails while they indulged in the festivities. Vendors included Olive Oil Pantry, House of Orange, LLC, Capa Gagna Califonia Wines, Amour Propre, Molly B. Gourmet Cookies and plenty more. Secret Room Style Lounge. On Friday March 25th, 2022, the event took place in Beverly Hills at the SLS Hotel Ballroom. Many nominees and talent attended this lavish invite-only event and were gifted amazing items from LuxeFair.com Magazine, Work It towels, Je Suis Diva, Souly Smokey LLC, BLUEBIRD BOTANICALS and more. Women In Film. On Friday March 25th, 2022, The Women In Film Pre Oscar Party was Hosted by H.E.R. & WIF board president emerita Cathy Schulman and was located on the Bar Lis roof top of the Thompson hotel. I ran into old friends such as Sally Richardson, Garcelle Beauvais and hung out with new ones including first time Oscar nominee from the UK Denise Yarde who was nominated for her work on Belfast but also worked on Marvels Black Panther.
eBay & GBK Brand Bar Pre-Oscar Luxury Lounge! On March 26th, 2022, as usual the GBK Brand Bar hosted an exclusive, invite-only lounge at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in the heart of Beverly hills. As part of the experience, presenting sponsor eBay gifted luxury goods available on the platform from top-tier brands like Oris, Montblanc, Tag Heuer, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta. Pretty sleek stuff.
Charmaine Blake Oscar Viewing Party! On Sunday March 27th, 2022, Publicist, Charmaine Blake hosted a Oscars viewing dinner to benefit the Faber Ryan Youth Foundation in the Luxurious Ballroom of Spice Affair, Beverly Hills Restuarant. The honored guest was Jason Derulo with special guest Wayne Brady, Eric Benét (Singer-Songwriter & Star of Legend), Megan Pormer (Fox Morning Show), Mario Van Peebles (Director), Caludia Jordan, Mike Gauyo (Writer for HBO Hit TV Series Insecure), Natalie Burn (Ukrainian-American Actress, Black Adam) and many others. The benefit gathering was curated was to bring awareness to ‘The Faber Ryan Youth Foundation’ whose mission is grounded in their commitment to impact the lives of youth and goal is to help them become independent, resilient, mentally tough critical thinkers.
Roosevelt Hotel After Party. The night was capped after amazing but also controversial awards show with a ton of after parties including one I ended up at which was the Hollywood Roosevelt just steps away from the Kodak center where awards were filmed. Stay tuned, we have more coming!
